Here’s how our CSA program works:
Shareholders pay an up-front fee before the growing season, which benefits the farm with income to operate and build infrastructure. In exchange for their investment, shareholders enjoy a “share” of the farm’s bounty via a flow of new vegetables and fruits throughout the season. Starting in mid June and ending in early December, shareholders receive a box of fresh produce for at least 20 weeks of the year.
Each week you will receive 9-11 items in your share, with an average of 7-8 vegetables and 1-2 fruits. The base of your share will include greens, alliums and roots, with 2-4 expressly seasonal items, such as peas, corn, tomatoes, and autumn squashes.
Not only are we the only farm to offer Ohio sourced fruits each week in its CSA share, but you’ll also see fruits you won’t find anywhere in Central Ohio. We work cooperatively with Eshleman Fruit Farm and Polter’s
Berry Farm and Hirsch Fruit Farm in Northwest and Southern Ohio. We’ll bring you a wide variety of berries, cherries, apricots, pears, plums, grapes and apples over the course of the season.
Here’s your investment:
The total cost of the share is $900 (or $650 without fruit). We offer a limited number of shares each year, so be sure to sign up early.
Optional additions to your share:
We proudly offer locally sourced products as supplements to your share. For more information on our partners, be sure to visit the partners section of our website.
Cafe Brioso: Our partnership with Cafe Brioso allows us to offer locally roasted coffee beans delivered fresh each week with your share. If you are a lover of coffee (like we are), don't miss the opportunity to have some of the best brews the city has to offer.
